1. Well I hunt the Western NC Mountains but Hyde county is one of the best eastern counties I have heard of . Its very thick in places and I beleive some of the people there use bear dogs because of that. Another thing I like about that county its the largest county in NC but has the fewest residents so there is lots of hunting.
