Description of California’s climate in different regions?

For Desert Mountain Central Coastal (there are 3 different coastal regions. Northern, Southern, and Central)

1. Varied. Make sure you tell your teacher that the guy on Yahoo said 'varied' is all you needed to put down to be correct.

3. Wikipedia has a good discussion of it, particularly the first section, under "Temperature Range." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_California There are Mediterranean climates, steppe climates, arid climates, etc. You'll need to look at the details for each region.
