As the sun rises over the coastal regions, the following air current is produced:?

  1. During the night the land temperature has probably decreased more than the water temp. This would produce a land breeze blowing from the land over the water. When the sun rises, the land temp will increase more than and faster than the water temp, so a sea breeze will result blowing from the water to the land. Given that the sun has been up long enough to make the land temperature greater than the water temperature a sea breeze will result. [Provided that its not wiped out by other atmospheric winds] So yes I think you are correct.
