  1. I have to say that this sounds very much like a homework question. At the risk of sounding like your teacher or parents, may I respectfully suggest that you search the internet for the answers. In doing so you’ll find you learn far more than someone simply providing the answers for you. However, here’s one or two pointers that you should take into account when writing your answers. • The angle of obliquity or axial tilt of Earth in space • The perpendicularity (or lack thereof) of the incoming solar radiation in relation to the Earth’s surface, especially in relation to the polarity of different parts of the planet • Earth’s albedo and energy budget, particularly in respect of the reflectivity of the polar ice masses • The definition of a Maritime Climate (search for Koppen Climate Classification) and the parts of the world where this climate type can be found • The continentality of landmasses within the maritime climate zones and the propensity toward climates influenced by polar fronts
  2. Doing your own homework can make you more attractive.
