Where can I get a Topographic map of Yellowstone National Park?

Do they provide/sell topo maps once I get to Yellowstone? I plan on going into the backcountry and would like to have a topo, not just an area map.

  1. yes, you can get topo maps at the shop at Old Faithful. You can also buy a relief map.
  2. Go to this site: http://egsc.usgs.gov/isb/pubs/booklets/usgsmaps/usgsmaps.html This will tell you about the best topo maps. You can buy them there, and also at commercial outlets (which might be faster). It is likely you can also get these maps at Yellowstone, but personally I like to get to know them before I go. Have fun!
